To Whom it May Concern;
Your prayers would be much appreciated. I have decided to move to a new denomination. This choice was made for several reasons. Since the decision has been made, I am having difficulty with my own attitude. I do not understand where the anger and angst is coming from. I have always been an extremely faithful individual with much patience. Now, I am getting older, and menopause has come. Some of this may be the underlying hormonal issues. But I am quite sure that the decision to be "unfaithful" to my denomination also is part of the problem. I really don't like who I am becoming. I want only to glorify God, to serve Him and to serve His people. How can I do that when I get angry so easily. Tonight my family noted my hidden anger and it bothered them, even while I never lost my temper. Still, the overly assertive stance that I took bothered me and those who know me well not to be this way. I need to be more humble and less easily upset. Please, I don't want to drift away, seeking my own way. Please help me! Your prayers would be much appreciated.

RE: Stagnate

Father, help this sister and hear her prayer. Anger always has a root...Father reveal it to her that she may lay the root cause at your feet for you to heal. Father...help her to understand that you care not where she worships as long as she does and in a place where there is strong Biblical Doctrine on which the flock is fed. Let her focus on the fruit of the Spirit, re-dedicating her life, her words and actions to being governed by them.

"22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." (Galatians 5:22-23)

You are very forgiving and will help us in all things if we ask with a sincere desire to change and grow. Return to her the joy of her salvation Father and let her forgive herself for this outburst and move forward in serving you. In Jesus name...Amen!
