Pray for son Austin at college. He's come under deception and his faith is being tried. He is contentious and rebellious where he used to be tender and childlike. He is becoming defiled. Please ask God to visit him with the Spirit of Truth and for God to surround Austin with songs of deliverance.

Dear Jesus,

We know you hear this parents child for their son Austin, Lord and you are standing watch over them Lord and their child , your child Lord.

Lord, just as you did with the prodigal son, speak to Austin of the errors of his way and help him come to you in repentance and come back to his first love, you Lord. Whatever is hardening his heart against you Lord and parents , Lord, we ask that you reach down with your loving hands and soften it. Softly and tenderly Lord, lead him back to your fold, as he has gone astray and like the Shepard you are we know you are already out searching all over for him, leading him back home.

Help this parent, just keep standing in faith, and trusting in your promises, that as we train up a child in the way they shall go , when they are older they shall not depart.

Use this time of back sliding in his life, for your good Lord, as you are so faithful Lord, taking the mistakes in our life and turning them into something beautiful .

Give this parent comfort, peace and hope Lord and put angels around her son, protect him , guard his heart and mind Lord and put angels around this family Lord.

Draw them all close to you and each other, in your love and acceptance.

In your precious name, Jesus I do pray.

Being in college myself, I understand what it's like to lose yourself a bit in a new surrounding, especially when you're with people in your age group.

I pray that God will provide Austin with the wisdom to know and understand the people he may be spending his time with, and the strength to stand up for himself and his convictions if he's being brought down. I pray that God will present opportunities for him to get back on track and be closer to Him, and I pray that Austin remembers that God is always with him, and his family is always behind him for the support and love he needs and deserves.
