You are right abt the price we pay for following Jesus full on! "ALL those who wish to live Godly lives in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution," says the Bible.

I was woken by what sounded like a rock hitting the house. It reminded me that Apostle Paul felt every rock thrown at him until he went unconscious and may have even died. But as Christians stood in a ring around him, God revived him and he went on with his evangelism. But he would always have the memory of the pain as those rocks slammed into him. Jesus said "If they have done it to me, they will do it to you." We need to "arm ourselves with the same mind" as the Bible says.

And we must pray for each other...

In 2 Corinthians 4 Paul said "Thus death works in us but life in you." No death in us, no life in others. Of course it is death to self on one level: "I am crucified with Christ, yet I live, yet not I, Christ lives in me." But we also must accept that God may ask us to lay down our physical lives for Jesus. There are more martyrs today--Christians being killed for their faith--than ever in world history. We just never hear abt it because the media doesn't publish it.

We in the West will soon experience what Jesus said, "You will be hated by ALL people...Those who kill you will think they are doing God a service." So far in my Gospel tract ministry I've only had to put up with public humiliation and shame. But I have to accept that Satan can get a madman with a gun or knife to do real damage. But I will tract on until all my Gospel tracts have gone.
