God please heal my husband's (Phil) wounds of childhood caused by his father's control and religion. Please use me as an instrument of your strength, forgiveness, and love to help in the solution of this healing so we may find healing in our relationship. Lord, please strengthen us and bring full reconciliation to our relationship and marriage for life. Lord, thank you for all you have done, all you are doing, and all you will do for us. Lord open up the eyes of this man as you did mine. I know the damage that fanatic religious people can do to their children. But you can make him see as you did with me, that it was not you but the people being misinformed, or trying to control us by fear of you, the wrong kind of fear. May his heart soften and have him open his heart toward you and understand that we serve you not a religion. We supposed to allow you to work in us for each one of us are unique. Only you can see into our hearts and know what we need and how to love you above all else. You were the only one that died for us not any religion Lord. Once we realize this we will stop trying to control, or to condemn each other for you are not calling us to do that but to allow you to be the one to do the work in us. Heal him of all the damage that has been done to him and may he be able to forgive. Heal this marriage also and have them make you the cornerstone of their life and marriage. Bind them together with your love, forgiveness, trust, kindness, understanding, fidelity, and joy in you and in each other Lord. May all these be done for Your Glory and Honor, I ask and thank you in Jesus Precious Name Heavenly Father, Amen!

The blood of Jesus can restore anything. I am in agreement that He will restore your marriage to a state better than it has ever been.
