Father, bless this person who sent a nasty email to JamesG with a contrite heart and spirit. Let them see that hurtful words do not resolve issues. Father in your kindness lead them to a more loving and humble way of dealing with their problems...In Jesus name...Amen!

I don't know this person but we live in the same town. He knows who I am what I am trying to do with my news blog. And he doesn't like my articles that I have been writing for my news blog. Yes, I ask the Lord to bless him for his hatred directed towards me...

You are aligning God's will James. We bless our enemy and God will take care the rest for us. Give God the Glory.

Dear James. Let not your eyes be taken off the task at hand, for many will not like what others do. Entrust all you do to GOD, make sure it is right by HIM and then leave the attacks to him as well. AMEN.

Having enemies and having to know how to deal with enemies and people who hate you, doesn't necessarily mean you did something to deserve it. Matter of fact, You are in good company. Jesus had plenty of enemies and never harmed anyone.

So, How to Deal with Enemies? Don't!!! Let God deal with them.

If you don't already have enemies, you probably will. Especially if you are a Christian. I always believed , just don't deal treacherously with people and you won't have enemies. But that's not true.

Personally, I have found that enemies are acquired from simply standing up for what you believe to be right and/or disagreeing with people! If people hate you because you are a Christian, you are truly blessed!

Matthew 5:11 - "Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. God Bless!

Amen to what DD says...and the bible says to pray for your enemy for it is like pouring hot coals on his/her head (or words to that affect!). Know that people will try to discredit you, but GOD knows your truth and he is the only one who is important.
