Glory and honor unto you my Lord, my soul blesses you and adore you for giving us life and salvation through your son Jesus Christ. We know that no matter how much we suffer, go without, and fall short, you still love us and are willing to forgive us when we repent of our sins. Guide us my Lord to the place you want us to be concerning you, so our path in this life be smoother. Give us the wisdom we need to be more pleasing unto you. Direct our path to a more fulfilling life full of your love toward others without judging or condemnation. Help us to keep looking at your cross during our times of distress, afflictions, sickness, financial needs, persecutions, rejections, and addictions. May we always come to you with a thankful heart and not so much complaining. Help us to see that no matter what we are going through at the moment, there are so many other blessings to be thankful for, and trust that you will see us through it all again and again and again, and will shower us with even more blessings, even in the middle of the storm. Open our eyes to see them, so we can still thank you and rejoice while still the raging waters seems to be drowning us. Help us be more like Job who never stop loving you even in the mids of loosing all he had.
