I have major dental fears and also I have a horrible time getting numb. The past few times I had to get numb it will take over 8 shots to get the job done. In between that though is "Let's see if you are numb . . . " then DRILL. I can't tell you how a body in pain can jump out of a chair. (shiver)

I'm going to be given some "happy pills" for the first time and hope they work well. I'm told I'll be "out of it" for most of the day tomorrow. Yet now I'm scared to death. First I fear the pills won't work at all & also just the idea of it all gives me chills.

Another thing is I have TMJ (a jaw disorder that can be pretty common) & hours of dental work can cause a lot of pain in the jaw and head. The last time I had even just a cleaning my jaw was in a lot of pain for days. (I have a very small mouth which means a lot of stretching)

Keep me in your thoughts and prayers please! I had such fear yesterday I had a panic attack that lasted hours. I feel like a baby about all this, but I'm told it is very common for some people to have such fears.

Father, please help this person get through the dental appts with no ill effects, and also for a safe procedure Lord, and just give them peace about this please Lord, in Jesus name, amen
