I met the man of my dreams. Everything was wonderful--we had so much in common, we got along extremely well, and we enjoyed the same things. We were so in love.

But then one night a lot of really difficult things happened, and I had a nervous breakdown. We got into an argument, and before I even realized what was happening I had told him it was over and left. I never meant to do that, and I still love him very much, but now he says that he can't deal with the pain again. I pray that he could see that the person I was that night wasn't who I really am, and that I am doing all I can to try and make sure that that quick-tempered, reckless person never surfaces again. I pray for just one more chance to try and make things work, and for him to forgive me and welcome me back.

Father, please touch the heart, mind and spirit of this your child. Bring healing to the things that make her behave so. Help her to forgive herself that she might walk in confidence in you. Help her to focus on growing in you that she might have a peace that is unshakable in any situation. Touch her friend and heal his wounds. Help him to forgive the unkindness that he received. Strengthen him Father to be able to become the man you would have him to be. If it be in your will to unite this couple...then please do so. If not, Father let them each learn and grow from the lessons learn through this experience. in Jesus name...Amen!
