I have a drinking problem. I need the strength to stop drinking. I want to be the type of christian I am supposed to be.

I drink also to deal with everything and I can't stop at one when I start so I definitely think I am an alcoholic. I also just lost my job. I am trying to keep the lord first. I just found out about my job today and have not thought to drink. I'll pray for you as I hope youd pray for me as well. Ouida

first of all speak this to yourself I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST THE LORD write it down and place it on the wall and let this truth sink in to your mind and believe it so it can sink in to your spirit for this is your new identity(if you have repented and received christ as your lord and saviour) secondly pray this;ALCHOHOL I DECLARE YOU SHALL NOT PROSPER IN MY LIFE IN JESUS NAME,do it and keep holding on to the lord day by day week by week month by month and before you know it the day will come when alchohol will not rule over you(ive been there) you also say your trying to be the christian that the lord wants you to be! you already are,by seeking him by desiring him by fearing him the lord loves you and you belong to him it just takes time for your flesh to fully surrrender and line up with him,the lord knows this and is with you and will never leave you say this too yourself;IM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR IN CHRIST THE LORD,MY FLESH IS WEAK NOW BUT THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE BY THE POWER OF THE BLOOD keep believing that every thing will change because of the power and love of JESUS living in you.
