We need a desperate miracle! Fast! My mother in law had a stroke two days ago. It left her throat swollen, unable to swallow food. They have put her into hospice, to die because of a legal technicality...she has a Living Will which states not to put tubes into her or put her on life support. But today she wanted to eat..they won't let her! So, they are going to let her die, although she is COGNIZANT and WANTS TO EAT! Her daughters spoke with hospice and they (hospice) are going to wait until Saturday morning to determine whether they will let her out of hospice to go on living! They want to see whether she will be stronger then...but at that point, she will have not eaten in over 48 hours!!!! This is insane!!! My goodness....can't her desire to eat override her previous signature that requested no tubes??? (A tube in her throat would provide the necessary agent to deliver life saving nourishment.) I'm sure when she signed that Living Will that she intended it to take place only if she were comatose, not cognizant! This is so completely frustrating as they are basing their decision to kill her on a legal technicality. This makes no sense to me. Do they really think she will sue them if they let her live??????????? God help us! Please pray!!!

PS. My husband said something about the doctors determining whether or not her existence would be "of value". Who are they to take on the role of God? God must believe her life is of value or He would have taken her. The whole family could suffer at the prideful hand of a few "educated" men. She is worth far more alive to so many of us. Every life is irreplaceable and precious

lord! touch this mother-in-law with your healing hands..bless her with good health..remove all the obstacles.bless this family abundantly .give peace in this family...in JESUS name i pray amen..

Loving Father, please guide the doctors and caregivers of this woman to make decisions that are within your will for her. Let everyone be governed by the sanctity of this life that you created. In Jesus' name, according to your will, amen.
