I left a job recently and an acquaintance from this workplace is contacting me too much. He is a nice person and I wish him well but it feels a bit claustrophobic at times. The others said goodbye and we are in touch here and there which seems appropriate but it seems this person wants to be in touch more regularly with me and I feel a bit trapped. I have other commitments and need to feel free. The same person does not believe in God and doesn't like anything mentioned about what he calls religion. I feel he is still drawn to the peace in me, but the too much contact us draining me and I sense it would lead to more involvement in the future. I feel a bit guilty and find it difficult to deal with these type of situations. It's not him, he is a nice person,it's the clingy spirit in him and I really do wish him well otherwise. I just want to protect my mental health as I hate feeling trapped. Thanks

Lord help this person be able to get rid of this other person who is clinging to them. I know how it feels when a
person you just know, not even a friend, and they drain you because they want to live their life through others. Lord give that other person a life of their own so they will leave their x-coworker alone. May it be done without any bad feelings, but with respect for each other. Protect and bless the person asking for prayers concerning this situation, also give them the wisdom they need. I pray in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!
