I want to know Jesus I want to give up the wordly things I want to know him because sometimes I don't know who I am

Romans 10:9
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Then if you don't have a bible get one ans start reading it and praying to your Father in heaven, like if you were praying to any of us. He wants to have a relationship with you, but He won't force Himself on you or anyone, You are the one that has to open your heart to Him and invite Him into your heart. As you read the bible, you will see you are a child of God, and if you allow Him to guide your steps from now on, He will make you now without any doubt who you are. He will give you Love, comfort, joy, and peace in your heart, also make you feel worthy as a person, because you are His beloved child.
Lord guide this person to you, so they can know beyond any doubt who they are in You our Father and Savior. In Jesus' Precious name I pray and thank you in advance, amen.

Ask, seek and knock. And he who finds himself will lose it, but he who loses his life for His sake will find it. Lord God, please help this person and others asking, seeking You and keeping knocking to find what their hearts desire. Have mercy on us, and thank You that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
