Amen to that, Yes the Lord wants us to give from the heart, not forced, nor nagged about it, and not for show!!!
God gave us a free will and he won't take it away from us, because when we come to him he wants us to come to him because we open our heart to him by our self, not pushed nor forced by anyone. The only one who takes away our free will is satan, and anyone who tries to do so to another person is letting satan use them to do his work. Think of it before anyone tried to force anyone else to do what they don't want to do within their heart. If they are sinning they will just have to face the consequences of sin, and someday face God with it. Follow the ten commandments as Christ told us to do. For it's not by our works or by buying the kingdom of heaven that we can make it. May the Lord bring peace into your household.
