15 year marriage ending

So much to say, never know how to put it all in words. I am seeking Gods direction and help. I have been married now for almost 15 years, we have 3 children and for me all my dreams have come true I love my life, wife and family more than words could explain. My wife on the other hand believes are marriage is dead and beyond saving. She has given up and has appoint on Tuesday to meet with a lawyer. I am so sad about this and have made it clear to her this is not what I want at all. This morning before she left for work I asked her to do me a favor and really think about this and pray to God to talk with her. Are marriage has been thru a lot, I have done a lot wrong and caused a lot of hurt to my wife and are marriage. I want more than anything to have a marriage as God created it to be and describes it in bible. I am desperate and that is without a doubt evident. I seem to pray and pray and pray without any answers or as it seems any acknowledgement from God at all. I know He hears and I love and believe in Him more than anything just feels like I am getting silence right now. I ask that you would pray for me diligently I feel like I could use all that I can get. Thank you all

RE: 15 year marriage ending

Heavenly Father, I pray for Dixon in the Mighty Name of Yeshua! I pray that Your Power and Anointing would come upon his life and that he would truly dedicate his life fully to You. I pray that he would have a great desire to read and study Your Word, the Bible and obey it. I pray that he would find a good church and begin to attend regularly. Help him to realize that his marriage did not unravel in one day and will not be put back together in one day either. It may take a lot of time to rebuild trust but I pray that You will touch his wife and deal with her heart also. Help both of them to put You and Your Word at the Center of their lives and then they will have a good chance to try their marriage again.

I am praying for you as I am going through something similar, although 25 years is at stake. Been praying for several weeks now with the same 'silence' somewhat, and lately--things are showing positive steps forward. I too asked my wife to pray to God or at least dig deep within her own heart asking herself to 'see' what is right....and I firmly believe that the prayers are working to help her see what is the right thing to do.

God DOES answer prayers, just not always in the time we expect or want. But he DOES...never give up, remain strong, and know there are others who are praying for you and will continue to do so.

Prayer For A Healed Marriage
I have put Husband or Him in the prayer. Replace it with Wife or her if need be.

Lord, deliver my wife from the power of darkness, and cause her to put on the armor of light. Help her in her daily walk to put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and Cause her to turn her eyes away from worthless things...to come to her senses, and escape the snare of the devil. Deliver her from immorality, strife, and envy, and draw her close to You, Father, with a true and contrite heart. Create in her a hunger and thirst for You and Your righteousness, and revive her in Your ways. I ask that You and fill her with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that she might have a walk worthy of You, Lord, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of You, strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power.

Bring her into the calling that You have predestined for her; help her to serve You with a loyal heart and with a willing mind, and instruct her in the way she should go. Let her a be doer of the Word and not a hearer only, meditating in Your Word day and night. Establish her heart, so she will never be shaken, and show her a way of escape with every temptation. Let her owe no man anything except her love. A love that is in deed and truth, not just in word and speech. Let her be a volunteer serving You in the time of Your power. Seeking first Your kingdom so that he will reap abundant blessings.

I pray that she will honor You with her possessions and with the first fruits of her increase; Praising the Lord with her whole heart in the assembly of the upright and in the congregation, walking humbly with You Lord, being determined to act justly, loving mercy and righteousness, being gracious and full of compassion.
"I cast down Father, my wife's unholy and unprofitable imaginations of distrust. I have captured those rebellious thoughts and give them to You, so you can teach her to obey." By praying this, those evil reasonings are destroyed. These imaginations of the natural mind exalt themselves against the true word of God. Destroy the stronghold. Bring your spouse’s entire being into subjection to the will of God.

Always remember this: Satan is afraid of God, he knows his time is drawing near. He knows where he is going and he wants to take you with. Don't let him deceive you. If you want your marriage restored, then you will have to pray for your husband or wife, the same way you would pray for your own needs. It's as simple as that, and you must trust that God knows what He is doing.
Praise God, Glorify His name continually, giving thanks for restoring your marriage and bring it back more exceeding and abundantly above and beyond all that you have asked, thought or imagined. Where there seems to be no way, God will make a way. That is the shield of faith you will need so that your marriage is not destroyed and given over to the enemy.

TRUST ME
Do you believe that I am the Son of God?
And do you believe that I died for all men
and women and that I rose from the dead?
Then why do you continue to be distracted
and anxious about your loved one?
Do they not also belong to me?
Would I refuse to work in their life,
just as I work in yours?
I have not put you in charge of saving them.
I have already done that.
Nor have I charged you to change them.
Your task is to love, to forgive,
to pray for them and to turn them over to me.
Come closer to me yourself
and I will do the rest. TRUST ME!

You can cry all day long and pray, but that's not going to move God to work on your situation. He does hear your cry and undertand your needs, but that's not faith and faith is what it takes for God to move that mountain out of your life. The need we have in our time of grief is to get the person we love back into our lives. We love him and miss him (or her) and it hurts, Oh God does it hurt. But God wants us to love and miss Him more than we miss our mate. He wants us to lean on Him, give Him our grief and let Him take care of it for us. He wants your love, your plea's and to get out of His way.
You see, God wants a relationship with you, an intimate relationship. He wants to be number 1# in your life. "Love God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your might." God first, your spouse second. When were weeping and crying praying to get our mate back, we're putting our needs before God. You'll know who you love most by who you think about most. When you're praying for God to restore your marriage in your dire need, are you thinking about God, or yourself?
Once you establish a strong relationship with God, pray then be patient. QUIT WORRYING. Life has dealt you a blow, but you cannot sit around and worry all the time. God will take all your burdens and carry them for you.
You need healing, so ask the Holy Spirit to rid of your anger, your fear, your anxieties. Ask God to remove everything that is keeping you from restoring your marriage. Give God all your burdens and let Him take care of them for you. Once you've given Him your burdens, quit trying to take them back. Trust in Him. Have faith that He will take care of all your needs, your problems, your trials, your emotional roller coaster ride. He wants to help you...All you have to do is ask. Ask, then.

But God says, "I can do exceedingly and abundantly above and beyond all that you can ask, think or imagine. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, for I am in you. You can do all things through Christ because I will give you strength to overcome. Trust in Me, do not lean on your own understanding. I am smiling down on you right now. I CAN heal your marriage and will bring about a wonderful reconcilliation because I work all things together for the good. Be confident and patient and you will receive My favor in amazing ways. I am a BIG God, there is nothing to difficult for Me. You are blessed, you are victorious. I will open up doors that no man can shut. My blessings are running down on you now and they are overtaking you. I love you, I will take care of this situation for you. Stand strong in faith and trust Me, and get out of my way because I'm comming through, and I'm coming through in the Name of Jesus."
Just trust God to heal your marriage because marriage healing is in the bible, the promises of God, that are crystal clear. He does not want you divorced, He wants you and your mate married for a lifetime, one man married to one woman for life, until death. He hates divorce (Malichi), so much that He says the one who would do such a cruel thing to their spouse is cut off from Him. He will not listen to their pleas for help. However, when you ask God to restore your marriage, you can trust that He sent help for the restoration the moment you asked. His word says so and He is not a man that He could lie.

RE: 15 year marriage ending

Lord God, please send the holy spirit into Dixon's wifes heart to do your divine work. Lord, let her realise the error of the route she wants to take, and see, that through you, nothing is beyond saving, no matter how impossible it seems to us. Please restore the mutual Love and respect they once shared and strengthen their bond to new and unknown levels. Hold them both in your protection and love. Lord, also give Dixon the strength he needs during the difficult times.

Amen
