i have been rebellious for a long time , but i was indifferent to anything that was around me so i did everything i wanted to do but now i regret. I am now a new convert in a Jesus name church which have took from a bad place and which is putting me in the right road but there a problem i have a big low esteem of how i look and everything that touch my complexion. I want to serve the lord with my flesh and spirit but that mean that to stop putting (paint) on my face but it has destroyed my face so now i have no strength to stop it. I need please to pray for me to become extremely beautiful and confident in my body again , please i want to become pure inside and out and to worship my Lord fully but i cant if i have makeup on, it is a disgrace to the Lord. I am begging you to pray for me so that this Wednesday 20 February 2013 i can become a 18 years old extremely beautiful young women and go without makeup to the church but it will be a miracle for me to be more beautiful that when i have makeup on ,please pray for me so i can become a new born again fully in Jesus name. Dear Chanice, The question I would ask you is do you really feel that wearing a little makeup is a big sin or is it the church telling you this? I have heard of this Jesus Name church and I do not think they even believe in the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). You should ask them exactly what they believe as it is very important. It is good that they are helping you and that now you believe in Jesus but you need to go to a church that emphasizes the Bible above all and not the traditions of men. As long as you dress modestly I don't believe that anyone has a right to tell you what clothes to wear or what to put on your face. Many godly Christian women wear a little makeup that makes them look better. I'm not talking about painting up like a street walker but light makeup. The Holy Spirit will guide you in these things so let Him. Don't get under bondage with man's ideas. Just study your Bible and let the Holy Spirit speak to you. God bless you!
