Father,

In your mercy please touch those that are burying innocent children and those who gave their lives protecting them in Connecticut. Father we know that evil is in the world and each time we see something horrible like this we know that the time of your Son's coming is drawing nearer...Come King Jesus and save your people from the enemy who seeks to kill and destroy them. Until you do help us to do what is right and just. Help us to remain strong in your word and in the faith despite the hurt and injury the enemy places upon us daily. Bless the parent's of these little ones with a peace that surpasses all understanding and bless them with the comfort of your presence. Father thank you for the teachers and administrators who gave their lives or were injured trying to save these children...and thank you for those children who went home to their parents alive. Father thank you for receiving those who are gone unto yourself and thank you that because we believe we know that these children are only separated from their loved ones for a little while...and that they will someday see each other again. Father comfort those that are left behind in the family of the boy that committed this awful crime..and in your wisdom and loving kindness...have mercy on his soul.
