Thank you, to everybody who takes the time to read these requests, and prays for them. You may not know it, but it is very much appreciated.
I have a request too, and need for someone to please pray for the well being of some foster children whose future and wel-being may be in jeopardy. I can't go into detail (our state is very strict about privacy), however can say that a financially incapable relative of the children has requested custody for what we know to be very wrong, very dishonest, and very self-serving reasons. It's not because this person loves (or wants) these children. In addition, it is believed this person may be abusive, however there is not enough information for our state's legal system to consider. Unfortunately from the state's perspective, financial capability and any other issues are secondary to the perspective of the law, which prioritizes the relative first, and then child(ren)'s well-being, second; after-the-fact, after placement. This means the children may have their security ripped away from them again, only to be placed into foster care again, and in another state.
These children are happy. They have adjusted well, and we would like to be certain that their future will offer them hope, well-being, and a Christian foundation.
My husband and I are open to adopting these children in the event that they cannot return home. Please pray for these children, and for us. Please ask for God's will, for His guidance, and more than anything, for His protection over these prescious little ones.
