Father, I have spent this holiday weekend alone, and try as I might I do not feel your presence in my life. I simply feel lonely and neglected. The man in my life has been too busy to share any real time with me...entertaining friends and family. He lives in another city and could not spare time to really talk. I have few friends and could not afford to go home this year...so I am totally without anyone to spend time with. I know you love me...and I know you are there...I just wish that I could have had a little joy this year...it has been so long since I have. Please Father give me your peace and help me to draw close to you. Help me to grow to the point where I need nothing but you in my life. Help me not to feel so sad and so uncared for. Help me to choose to only allow people in my life who can be generous with their hearts and can show some compassion and understanding. Father, please help me to become the woman you want me to be.
