Why so many Christian when asked to pray for someone sick, or in need of a specific prayer, the first thing that comes out of their mouth is, are they safe? If they think the person is not safe they don't feel pressured to pray for them.
Since when did God made us the judge of what's in some else's heart, or see the work God may be doing in that person? Won't it be best if we pray for God to do the healing or answer whatever their need is? Won't it be best to pray for them and let God do work in the person in need so them and the unbelievers around them can see God's power at work, to help them become believers?
Someone tell me, when Jesus was on this earth and they brought the sick people to him, did he asked them first if that person was a believers?
Why don't we show the world the compassion and love of God through us as we pray even for our enemies? Isn't that what we are called to do instead of judging?
May the light of God enlighten those out there that choose not to pray for those in need, unless the person believes the way they think they should believe. I don't think that God looks kindly toward those so called Christians that practice this.
Lord open the eyes of those that are so blinded by their own denominations theology and think they can judge a person's heart as if they were you. I pray in your precious son's name Jesus Christ, amen.
