Paula, you continue to chase Tim even after he divorces you, treats you poorly, does not want you in his life; if your children need space, thenleave them be & let them come to you; as to work, it sounds like it is stressful so finding a support group/ friends/connections outside of work is likely the area you need to put your energy & attention into.
I think you will continue with poor results in your life is you keep calling & begging for Tim back, & your children will not have the strong mother they need. Work on yourself right now, it sounds like your kids are well looked after & that is not a worry at the moment. You don't need to turn your back or be angry with them your children but just focus on your own healing. I think that is what a therapist will tell you too.
God Wants us to do the work in our healing, we can't want for it without making the efforts..Tim wants you out of his life. It's sad but true.
That reflects on him not you, it's a travesty & not right, however if you take time to heal, then find strength to be a good employee, a good mom. There are MANY that have been abandoned by a spouse & it's very difficult to gain grounding but you have to grieve your loss or you will continually live in pain. Tim gave up on you & he was wrong & it was not Godly & was cruel... but you are giving up on yourself by not trying anymore to heal your life. Tim is not your spouse any longer he is not required to care for you/ again it is cruel & God Hates Divorce, he will have to answer to GOD For what he did to you & your children.
Why would God Will Tim back if he treats you badly.. maybe your children are giving you space so you can work on your healing.
Your life is not easy but reaching back to Timothy, being constantly let down when your children don't reach out to you, is not the focus I think God Is Wanting of you. Try to find a church, support group, let go & let God! There are plenty who need support, other women that are going through loss, divorce, & could use a friend. Try putting your energy where there are fruits. Your kids will be there / work on becoming a healthy mom for them. Forget Tim for now Paula.. he's not healthy nor living for GOD. You are divorced. Grab ahold of GOD & become what He Intended you to be. It's ok to whine, to feel sad, but your movement is to be forward not back. & WHY in the world would you want Tim back at this point? It's been several years & he has no intention of changing or reuniting. Your children are likely overwhelmed at the fact you keep at him still. They need a mom, he doesn't have a clue what a wife is. Try to prioritize your life.. then slowly work to heal. Pray.
I think that is what the therapist & your friends are going to be asking you..
