Lord,

Sometimes I feel foolish praying for provision. Despite all my ups and downs throughout my life, and you know there were many downs, there was always some way that you looked out for me. You've given me ambition, drive, intelligence, and talent, and I've been able to reach many of my needs, goals, etc., but you know there are needs that are beyond myself, that I can't do "on my own." I pray that you will give me the reassurance that you will provide. Help me to hear your voice for guidance. Please lead me to the right people and circumstances.

You also know that I feel like I've never had an abundance of love in my life. Over the years you have shaped me into a strong woman who can depend on herself. I'm not unhappy being alone, but I know it is not good for people to be alone. I know I have the love of my immediate family, but I pray that you lead me to genuine non-familial relationships with people I can love and who will love me in return. I know that most relationships, especially friendships, are not meant to last a lifetime, but I pray that I can find people to love and to love me in this "season" of our lives.
