Christmas

It has been difficult for me to prepare anything for Christmas because my situation at work is so crazy. I simply want to leave all this in Jesus' hands, including tomorrow with its tasks, and all the people in my life.

RE: Christmas

Actually You could simply skip Christmas in the earthly way, because its mostly materialistic anyway, I suggest you just see it as any other week and rather focus on praying and seeking the Lord. Why do people thing they have to spoil themselves and others with gifts and food, it has nothing to do about your relationship with God- I think God would much rather have us focus on Him rather than focus on ourselves celebrating Him cominng to earth, its actually a perfect time to fast and pray and come closer to God, all the gifts and the food takes the focus away from teh real thing.

RE: Christmas

Father, bring peace to the heart of this guest and help them to make Christmas a time for the things of Spirit this year. Let them remember the birth of the Savior and the mercy of his sacrifice whether there are gifts under the tree or not. Let this season be a happy one for this guest and her family because they center their thoughts, words, actions and deeds upon you. In Jesus name...Amen!
