Please pray for me. I was abused by a priest for 2 years. I have no Church now. I can't cope with the Church any longer. Am desperate. Need something to hold onto - I do hold onto God, but it is hard. I am ill. I have a disabled husband who needs care 24/7 and have no support. I am going through hell. Please pray for me. Thankyou

Lord, you know the pain of being sexually abused. It is even more tramatic when abused by a person who is the representive of christ and a spiritual leader. You Lord are no stranger to pain and I know it grieves you when this evil sin is commited against one of your beloved children. Lord I know that this is a lifelong battle and recovery process, but I know that you can win this battle for your child and you will bring something beautiful out of these ashes. I pray Lord that you would shower your child with compassion and renewed hope in you. Give her a new demonination to fill her soul with love and truth. Show her who you really are and that she can trust you. Give her strength to care for her husband. Let her cling to you Lord. Help her to do what seems impossible but is possible with you Lord. Help her to forgive and set her free from the guilt and pain that is keeping her in spiritual bondage. This is not or will ever be her fault. Help her to believe this truth. Set her free by the power of your love Lord.
