I have been on church all of my life. I am 42 and I still do not understand the bible and do not know how to apply scripture when I am searching The word for direction.

Please pray for me.

Lord open up the word for this guest to understand. You Lord teach your children. Give your child a heart to know you and draw their heart toward you in love. Make their realtionship with you a personal one. Be their friend and show them how real you really are. Touch them with a gift of faith and trust. Let them perserve. I know you will help and hear when we ask. In Jesus name I pray.

Dear Lord open this person spiritual eyes and ears so they can understand you word, have it become their daily spiritual vitamins. Help them to understand your word, lead them to start with the book of John and the psalms which is so inspiring. Also lead them to join a good bible study where the group will discus your word, and each one can ask questions when they don't understand what they have read. May your word become a living word to them that will quench their spiritual thirst and be able to grow in you. I pray and thank you in advance in the precious name of Jesus Christ, as I give you all the Honor and the Glory Heavenly Father to whom all power belongs, Amen!

Oh dear Lord thank you so much for your word and for the guidance you have placed in there! Thank you for this person who is searchign with all their heart but still haven't found the answers. Please open their eyes and teach them your Holy Word. Please bring someone into their life who can help answer their questions and teach them more. Father you know what is needed in this situation now so instead of praying in my words, I simply pray to you to work your divine will in this person's life and let whatever happens next to be of You. Please let him/her come to know you and your word in a real, rich way -- because there is so much joy to be found there!! Amen!!
