i have been married to my husband for 13 years. We have four beautiful children, whom I have stayed home with for the past several years. We have had financial problems and have been unfaithful to each other in the past, among other things we have done to each other that were, well, not so nice.
But above all i know we both love each other very much. We were both raised in Christian homes, but have not led a life that has been close to God. My husband decided he didn't believe in God anymore about 10 years ago. I never lost my faith, but wasn't what i would call having a close relationship with God. My husband told me a few weeks ago that he isn't happy. He strongly believes that we should not be together anymore, given the problems we have had in the past and thinks that we would be "better people" if we were to divorce. I am wanting to save my marriage, even though he does not. I also am praying for his salvation, that he will return to God. please pray that he will come to the realization that we can save our marriage and be happy, and that he will accept God back into his life. The simple thing is that nothing else but the free love of the Father is the beginning of our salvation, and Jesus Christ is He in whom our righteousness and salvation dwells: and faith is the instrument or means by which we apprehend it, and everlasting life is that which is set before us to apprehend. Father Jesus, I pray for this sister whom you have heard, I pray that her marriage is restored and that her husband finds you again my Lord. I pray that you may strengthen their marriage, with your love, peace and joy. I pray that they may both serve you Jesus, in your name, amen.
