This day isn’t going as I planned. I hadn’t expected to face a day like this. I feel unprepared and knocked down.Nothing goes right today? Guess what! It is always right with God. We don’t see what the future holds but God protects us although we see it as a setback..
We are spiritual beings first, with a human existence. Yet we tend to operate in the reverse.We often allow our ‘humanness’ to take charge. But God gave us the authority to take control of our situations. He empowered us to move mountains. So why do we worry?
As believers we should be exercising our God-given authority… not succumbing to negativity. I was reminded of this in Psalm 55:22 "to cast my cares upon God".Living by this principle will helps you to rely on His strength. His word gives you the courage and strength to keep going. Let me tell a story. One day
a man fell into a pit and couldn't get himself out. A Christian Scientist came along & said: "You only think that you're in a pit". A Pharisee said: "Only bad people fall into a pit". A Fundamentalist said: "You deserve your pit". An IRS man asked if he was paying taxes on the pit. A Charismatic said: "Just confess that you're not in a pit". An Optimist said: "Things could be worse". A Pessimist said: "Things will get worse!" Jesus, seeing the man, took him by the hand and lifted him out of the pit. It's never a bad moment with Jesus!.

Dear Heavenly Father; I am having a bad day. It seems as though nothing is going right. I have so much to do and so many people depending on me. I don’t’ have time or energy for things to go wrong. I want to ask you to take away my bad days but I realize that if I do that I am missing out on learning to trust in you. Instead, I ask for Your love, guidance and support to help me get through my bad days. Help me to learn to trust in you through the small things so when I have bad days that are bigger I will not just come to you but I will have learned how to trust you. Amen
