my rotten wife
i just want to ask for prayer for myself and my wife, im struggling to make our future some what brighter, and all she wants to do is shoot me down and make it even harder on me. i recently enrolled in an online colledge program. unfortunatly the internet service is in her name. She thinks its funny to threaten me by turning off the service. if she does this thats 4 years of colledge down the drain along with what ever loans i've occured, please pray for God to rid my life of the evil in it or please take me home, to be with him.

RE: my rotten wife
Jesus says, "a house divided cannot stand", there is a spirit of division in your home. We are to lift one another up, not tear each other down. As your wife, she needs to understand that God is going to hold her accountable for every action that she has in your marriage. What ever dart that satan is throwing in your marriage, keep lifting her up in prayer and let God do the changing. We can't change anyone. But, our heavenly Father has the power to remove the evil, and replace it with the good that you came to love and eventually married. Remember to call on the name of our Lord whenever storms arise. I too have many storms to face. But, I must keep my eyes on Jesus in order to overcome. If college is for you, you just trust God to see you through. If you pray, don't worry. If you worry, why pray? Hebrews 11:1, "NOW, faith is the subtance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen." Just have faith that all things will work for the good to those that love the Lord. Keep trusting in him. Do not call your wife rotten. Satan is rotten. It is his demons that have taken control of the wife you love and married.

RE: my rotten wife
Lord,Jesus help Jeff in whatever need that he has.Help him to remember and her why they married each other.Let them make You, Lord, the head of their house.Name calling and threats to each other does not show Your love, dear Jesus.I pray that both Jeff and his wife give their hearts and their lives to You. If they are already Christians,I pray that You help them get a closer walk to You. Let Jeff and his wife know Colossians 3:18,19 says- WIVES,SUBMIT YOURSELVES UNTO YOUR OWN HUSBANDS,AS IT IS FIT IN THE LORD. HUSBANDS,LOVE YOUR WIVES,AND BE NOT BITTER AGAINST THEM. Lord I pray that they make You first in their lives.I pray that You will lead guide and direct their lives so that they may be found doing Your will. Praise be the name of Jesus. In these things we ask believing in Your name Jesus,Amen.

RE: my rotten wife
Jeff: I will remember you and your wife in my prayers. God loves both of you so very much! I've been married for 23 years now. Every time we failed to make the Lord number one in our lives, trouble with our relationship came knocking at the door. The cares of this world, fear, greed, and selfishness always pull us away from our relationship with Christ. My wife and I had to learn to sincerely forgive each other for the things that we did to each other that hurt us, just as God forgives us for the things we do or don't do that are against His will. But, we must be able and willing to say we're sorry, and mean it. And what I mean by that from my own experience is taking an "About face" attitude of walking away from my old habits that are not according to God's will. Seek first God's Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you, according to His will. Take the first step and give your wife a big hug and tell her that you love her! Have faith in God, and remember that the greatest of all the gifts is love, that Jesus laid down His life that we may live, that His gift to us is free for the asking, as He already paid the price "In full." Blessings to you and your wife Jeff!
"Surrounded by Your Glory what will my heart feel, will I dance for You Jesus, or in awe of You be still. Will I stand in Your presence or to my knees will I fall, will I sing Hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all..."

RE: my rotten wife
I agree with all the prayers above and ask that you give this husband extra strength Lord, to be the light when it is dark in his family.
Let him do in not only words, but in action, what you would have him to do, even if his emotions speak contrary Lord, so he can be a beacon of light to his wife right now Lord.
Infuse in him a spirit of forgiveness towards his wife Lord, and give him compassion Lord for her anger or bitterness Lord, knowing that it does not come from your spirit. Through your spirit help his wife be attracted to your light through his testimony Lord.
We ask this in your precious name, Amen.
