El Shaddai, El Elyon Adonai, Father of our hope and freedom, we thank You for this time of prayer, when we become consccious of Your presence, and lay before You our desires, our hopes and our gratitude. This consciousness, this inner certainty of Your presence is our greatest blessing. Our lives would be empty if we do not have it, if we lost You in the maze of the world, and if we did not return to You from time to time, to be at one with You, certain of Your existence and Your love. It is good that You are with us in all our difficulties and troubles, and that we have in You a friend whose help is sure and whose love never changes.
Loving and Merciful Father, thank You also for the light and truth which shine out from Your Word, for the holy Words written down by those whose souls were touched by Your Spirit, for the teaching and the call which reach us from Your messengers. Help us transform our thanks into service. Let our mind and our soul add to the holiness of life. May all that we have learnt in our worship here stay with us and keep us in Your goodness, so that our actions may be pure and our soul be at peace.
Father Yahweh, please forgive us for decisions that dishonor You, not speaking up when we know we should, or joining in conversations and actions that displease to You. Help us always honor You by making obedient decisions to follow You, no matter what the circumstances or consequences. Thank for the examples of Noah, Joseph, Daniel and others. Give us not only the ability to love those who dishonor You, but also the courage to stand up for You, and the discernment to know how, so we honor You and respect others.
Eternal One, please fire our heart to wait longingly for Yeshua's glorious appearing and stir our desires to want what is good and holy. We pray through the love and work of Your Son, Yeshua, the Messiah, the Anointed One, the One who showed us the definition of obedience and respect by embodying it, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen, so be it. Halleluyah.
