I really need space in my life now for God and perhaps to make new Christian friends. However people who are not Christians often ask for my phone number and say we must meet up. I am lost for words when this happens- I do not want to meet them as I need to be free. One girl in particular I met today took my number ( I find it too difficult to refuse to give my number) and says she will phone me during the week- she seems to presume I want the same thing yet I think I have been quite distant with her to avoid giving the wrong message. Please pray that she will be too busy and not get a chance to contact me- I hate conflict and I really need space. I wish her well but did not commit to regular contact- she just presumed this. Please pray as I feel under pressure. I feel guilty when I say no and if i do I usually end up giving an excuse that is not true. thanks
