I need prayer and also good Goodly council if possible...I have spoke to my pastor on starting a ministry at church. He okayed it. Then another member brought up we have too many of this same type ministry and thinks we need to be working together. (I totally agree to work together) My heart is to get those people not plugged into the other ministries to get plugged in to the new one and possible coming together to work together on some projects as well. I feel a little discouraged and need to know how to handle the situation? We had this ministry before and I felt bullied into trying to merge the groups. But once this group closed the people did not want to join the other groups. ( I do not want people to know I felt bullied I just want peace!) Need direction please!

RE: Direction
Firstly, anyone can be in a ministry with or without any degree. However, to fully know that God has called you into ministry, you must have heard God spoke to you. I am not trying to disqualified your desire but to make you aware what God's calling. A lot of people FEEL they ought to be in a ministry i.e. start their own church, program, etc. and it failed at the end because God did not call them to be in ministry. Make sure that you really heard from God and He asked you to do His will. May God's fulfill His plan for your life without hindrances. When it is God's calling, there are no blockages and things just fold into right places. God bless our God Almighty!!!
