Good morning. Im asking for everyone to pray for me and my marriage. I have been married for 1 year, and I know that my wife and I had valid proof that God intended for us to be together. Unfortunately, I had committed the act of adultery. When it happend, I felt shame, disgust, and guilt. I had decided to admit to my wife what I had done this past friday, and naturally she felt betrayed, and now she is threatening divorce. I love her so much, and I know that what I had done was a huge mistake, and I asked God for forgiveness knowing that I had offended him. I then Forgave myself, so I would be able to move on. But I want my marriage to survive, because I know that God unites 2 people for life. The problem is that my wife has a hard heart that is not easy to convince because she has been through infidelity before and I know my words alone won't change her. So Im calling on our God to change this situation, In the name of Jesus!

Dear Brother, I pray for you and your wife in the Name of Jesus for the Shalom of God to fall on this situation and work all things out for the best. There are many things that are better left confessed only to God and this is a good example of why but what is done is done. It may take your wife a lot of TIME to get over this. Do you love her enough to wait and pray and really commit your whole life to Jesus Christ? If so, then this crisis could be the beginning of something wonderful for you both. I pray that that will be the case. God bless you both!

Thank you brother for the prayer. To answer your question, Yes I do love her enough. I love her enough to tell her the truth about what I had done. The book of James chapter 5 verse 16 says Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. My wife is christian just like I am, and I know that God placed in each others life. What you said is true, I believe this is the beginning of something new for us both. I see this horrible experience as a lesson, and as a way for God to help us to achieve new heights. Sometimes it takes horrible events to make you stronger.
