My family and I have really been struggling for a long time. My dad suffered a stroke several years ago and has been in and out of work ever since. He's done everything from janitorial work to corporate consulting. Right now, he's working on a contract that is set to end next month with no guarantee that he will be hired full time. Meanwhile, we have no insurance yet many health challenges and expensive medications to fill. Additionally, our car just stopped working today, and he's not sure how he will get to work in the morning; that car is our only form of transportation.

I do not drive and do not have a full time job, just temporary work. I'm trying to find a full time job to help my family out with rent (which is now past due), prescription medications (of which I take many), food (which we stretch every penny to purchase every day), and now a new car (because it would probably cost more to fix at this point than purchasing a used car or something).

It pains me to see my father work so hard every day with very little reward and my mother break down in tears as she watches her husband struggle. It breaks my heart; I pray all the time but just when things seem to get better, they get worse. PLEASE pray that God will deliver us from this hardship and pain.

Dear Lord: Please help this family with all their needs. Please bring them comfort and direction and help them to stay close to You. Please hear their prayers.

Heavenly Father
Your plans for us are not plans of suffering, but indeed plans of prosper. Your son died on the cross for our sins to allow us to live an abundant life. We do face challenges through our lives, but You are faithful. You will never allow us to suffer, God please intervene in this situation, keep this family close to You, send the breakthrough, send the relief, the answer for Christ sake, Amen

Lord I come in agreement in prayer for this family. Send them help from above so they'll be able to live without all these difficulties. Fill them with your joy and peace of mind even through these hard times. I pray in Jesus name, amen.

Lord, give this sister joy in the suffering. We could all be in her situation,
and at one time or other very well maybe. Show her family mercy.
