Always Crabby on Sunday's

I am a memeber of a very small church in Missouri. I have been Very Crabby today. So crabby, that we have missed church and I cant even fathum walking into Gods house today. I am very active and support several areas within the congregation. After I appologized to the children for being so crabby we prayed to God that the evil would leave me and allow me to be nice again. My older son, Garrett, said to me...."Mom, did you notice that the onyly time you are crabby, is when we have to go to church no Sunday?" My son also suggested that if I am going to be crabby on Sunday's that he woul rather not go to church, and then maybe I would be nice again.
I guess I need prayer in helping me figure this out. The devil is working against me here. How do I control this anger?

fireproof your life watch fireproof it is the devil stopping u from going to church. i was the same way. i was crabby because i wanted the whole family to go to church. at least u were only crabby on sundays. look at how u act during the week and then pray b4 church and then let go let god and think of fun things to do b4 and after church. maybe a breakfast where u and the kids cook 2gether and then church. etc. or after church something special like park thank you god bless

RE: Always Crabby on Sunday's

There are others that get crabby with a routine at times &/or need to reignite the spark of God In Their lives. I don't think God Is Seeking Perfection in us, so allow yourself to creatively find answers & you may be helping others along the way! He Is The Author, we will drink from The River of Life, REJOICE!

Surely there are other grumpies on Sunday at times, maybe have a coffee & donut Sunday & discuss it & ideas to make things fun again!

New Testament says we are not under the letter of the law, thus varying routine in our service to God can be refreshing & in these tough economic times may be just what is called for.

I pray you are part of the answer to what may be much more common problem that you are aware of & even the reason some quit going to church.. Maybe be part of a spiritual renewal in your church/area, however small or large..

God Bless you.

RE: Always Crabby on Sunday's

I deal with the same exact things. It's not necessisarily on the same day during the week, as it is with you, but at various times I can be in a bad mood and don't understand why. I pray on it. I pray that this gets better for you, Sweet Sister, the enemy is under your foot. I pray that next Sunday you are excited to go to Church and this mood leaves you to never return again. Please let us know when your prayer is answered. In Jesus Name. It is done! Amen.
