Too much to handle

Please pray for my dad. He us so depressed. My mother left him after 25 years of marriage. They have been going through a divorce for over a year and a half. She hasn't spoken to him or seen him even once in person since they left. She hated him and always has. She is so cold hearted. It's a long story and of course there are two sides but two years ago you would have thought our family was pretty normal.

Please pray your hardest that my mom will find God. And that my dad will feel Gods love and know that he is loved. At this point the depression and hatred is too much for me to handle.

RE: Too much to handle

I called my dad this morning to see how he's doing and he's worse than last night. I feel like he can't see the good in anything right now. My entire life he has been the most positive person. Everyone always says he looks at the world with Rose colored glasses. He so depressed now. He cries all the time. Everything hurts his feelings.

He has a very stressful job & I'm not sure how much more he can take.

I don't understand why God isn't intervening. This has been going on for over a year, almost two.

RE: Too much to handle

Keep praying for your dad. It is very sad that all of this has transpired. We cannot begin to understand the complexity of Why things happen as they do. We must continue to trust in THE LORD.
If you can do 2 things?
Keep praying hard for your dad. It sounds like he is a good man, very caring & love. Know that what is most important is that he stays close to The Lord through all of his trials & tribulations in life, no matter how hard things get.
Second, keep praying for your mother. That her heart soften, so she knows Christ & is more Christlike in nature.
People can be very opposite, some are very kind & sensitive & others are not as much & very insensitive. But what is IS GOD. When we get to Heaven, God Creates A New Order. In the meantime, we have to endure much heartache & suffering. At times it's being too sensitive to slights, & other times it's that someone has caused chaos in our life because of insensitivity.
What does God Desire? For us to LOVE AT ALL TIMES.
So pray that healing occurs via God Almighty, that His Love Reign in your father's heart, that he find peace in all of the losses.
The journey to heaven, as Christians can be a very complicated one. But if we stay on the narrow path, focused on God in service to HIM & HIS WILL, HIS WORD, the success comes in our afterlife.
Praying that God Intervenes in your dad's life, that your mother's heart soften, that she also know Christ & in her nature.
Keep praying!

Lord, that this child of YOURS does not let themselves get sucked into the middle of this, but stay in prayer. That they keep seeing clealy, as they do, The Truth, that YOU ARE LOVE. Bitterness & hatred solve no problems in life. You Are A God of Order.
Bring about YOUR ORDER to these lives. Keep this young person safe, with clarity of direction.
That their parents take the plank out of their own eyes & not continue to have bitterness & hatred in their heart.
That we all remember Lord, You ARE our FATHER. YOU ARE our SPOUSE.

RE: Too much to handle

Father touch this heart of this man and give him peace. Let him focus on you and your plan for him knowing that you will see him through. Strengthen his faith and his love for you that his pain may be eased. Father touch this wife and ease her hurt also. Let her forgive that she may be forgiven. Father have your perfect way in this situation that these people may know the Agape love that you offer us and share it bountifully with one another. In Jesus name...Amen!
