marriage in limbo

my husband Josh who is working in Afghanistan emailed me in May saying he feels like something is missing and there is more to life than to get married and have kids. this took me off guard and broke my heart. he had no contact with me even reguarding our 2 kids. I struggled with depression over this, but just kept praying and developed a closer relationship with God. I stoped calling and emailing Josh and focused on taking care of my kids and making myself get over the depression. Out of nowhere Josh started calling and emailing me and when we talked he acts like he never sent that email. At first I thought my prayers were answered, but now he is pulling away again so I am not sure if he is just playing games with me. Please pray for my marriage and Pray for Josh I wish he would have a closer relationship with God. Please Pray that the Lord will keep me strong and not slip back into a depression. Thank you

RE: marriage in limbo

Father, help this woman to see the immaturity that is present in this husband. Help her to remain focused on her own walk with you and to keep communication with this husband pleasant but not as though nothing has happened...because something is very wrong with his treatment of her and his children. Help her to understand that a man who is mature in the Lord does not play games like this...push...pull...push...pull. Let her pray for his growth in the knowledge of the Father...and his wanting to commit to the Father and to his ways. Trying to settle anything from this much of a distance is futile...unless God does it. Let this woman wait on God...and continue to strengthen her walk with him. In Jesus name...Amen!

I will pray for you, please pray for me too.
Father, I hear and feel the pain this woman has with her husband, as my husband has been playing the same game for three months. One minute he appears to be wanting to get right, come home and the next I don't hear from him in weeks. I understand the complete and total frustration, the questions of what do I do, how long do I wait? I realize the true source of all of this is a rebellion towards you, Lord. Restore these men to your side. Convict them where there is to be conviction, repentance where there needs to be repentance and most of all a healing of their minds. Open their eyes, Father. Remove the enemy and drop the lies being whispered in their ears. I pray for her heart, and mood. I pray she remain steadfast with you, Lord. Give her comfort and peace, and Lord, I ask that you give us both the answers we seek. In Jesus Name, Amen
