I thank God for all of my blessings. I give him praise, honor, and glory now and forever. I turn to him in my time of great need knowing that he alone can rescue me and my family. We have been overwhelmed by life - jobless, enormous debt, son failing school, illness, no peace or happiness, and losing the will to continue living like this. I feel tired and used up. Life is a constant battle to get through each day. I pray in the name of Jesus and read the Bible daily to seeking wisdom and help. I feel that the things happening in our lives are to great to endure now. Again and again I pray in desperation for heavenly help to rescue my family, but now years have passed and I am no closer to obtaining my dreams or fulfilling my mission in this life. Please pray in the name of Jesus that Sabrina and her family will receive peace, prosperity, good health, hapiness, God's favor, fulfill their mission on this Earth and obtain a stronger faith today. I believe in the power of prayer and the awesome love of God. I wait in faith and hope.

Lord, I pray that the happiness be returned to this person and that the illness be healed. I pray that our will be done.In this I ask in Your name,Jesus.Amen.

I am strongly in the need of prayer for a stable and professioanl job. I am a single mothe of 1, working PT @ Walmart and have only $300.00 to my name. I have been praying for a long time for a job and financial stability...its getting hard for me because Im starting to wonder if God is hearing my prayers! Please pray for me because I am very discouraged and depressed about not finding a job in which I can utilize my Masters Degree! Thank u all!!

pLEASE PRAY FOR ME AND MY FAMILY, WE ARE STUCK IN POVERTY ADN IN DEBT. I PRAY TO THE LORD ON MANY OCCASSIONS, BUT IT FEELS LIKE I'M PRAYING AGAINST A ROOF WERE IT BOUNCES BACK. WE CANT GET OUT OF THIS POVERTY. I'M GETTING DISCOURAGE CAUSE PRAYER DOESN'T SEEMS TO HELP.

Father,
I pray for all these people who are discouraged by the burdens life throws at them. I pray that You will lift these burdens from them, and that You will fill them with Your peace and love, that they may feel Your presence and know You are there beside them no matter what happens in this life. Thank You for their faith in turning to You in their time of need. Please hear their cries and answer them - please strengthen their faith and raise them up in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control (all the Fruits of the Spirit). I pray all these things in Jesus' name,

This is a poem that always comforts me when I am troubled or discouraged:

Footprints in the Sand


One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during
the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one
set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?"

The Lord replied,
"The times when you have
seen only one set of footprints,
is when I carried you."
