A Life in Turmoil

Please pray for me. My life is in complete chaos.

My wife of five years was having an affair on me and left me two years ago. I was granted the house during the divorce proceedings, but it was more than I could afford on my own.

To make a long story short, I accrued a heinous amount of debt because of the divorce and I used up all my savings trying to pay for the house. I also took a $5.00 an hour paycut during this time.

Now, I am losing my home and am having to file for bankruptcy. I feel like such a loser and a fool. My folks are doing what they can to help me, but as a 38 year old man, I feel like a loser. I don't know where I am gonna live or how I am gonna fix this mess.

I am broken financially and emotionally. I don't know how to find the light in this darkness, and I feel as if I am drowning. I just want to get my life back on track. I have never been in this kind of trouble before and I feel like I have lost everything. I don't know how I will ever rebuild.

I feel like I am on the brink of sanity and am contemplating ending my life.

Please help.

RE: A Life in Turmoil

Read the book of Job in the bible, and see that he went through much more than you, yet he never lost his faith in God. See how God blessed him more than he was before he lost everything by restoring what the enemy took away from him. Bring it all to Jesus and keep your faith, for with Him on your side who can be against us. Just keep pushing ahead and looking for a better paying job, and concentrate in serving God by making Him the cornerstone of your life and you'll see everything falling back into place for you in God's timing. Be thankful that at least you have your parents to help you, unlike other people out there in worse situation than yours. Always look around you to see you are not so bad off as you think.
Lord I pray you will help this man to get back on his feet and help him to keep his faith in you. Give him strength and wisdom, may he feel you comforting him as he makes you the cornerstone of his life and allow you to guide his steps. Return to him what the enemy has taken away many time better as you did for Job. Have your perfect will be done in his life here on earth as it is in heaven. I pray and thank you in advance in Jesus Christ Precious Name, as I give you all the Honor and the Glory Heavenly Father to whom all power belongs, Amen! Warrior
"Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 18:19
11- For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12- Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13- You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14- I will be found by you," declares the LORD. Jeremiah 29:11-14

RE: A Life in Turmoil

Dear Lord Jesus,

Please help this man to trust in You during this difficult time in his life. Please help him to know that You do have a plan and a future for him, even though he's surrounded by things not going his way at the moment. Please give him a sign of encouragement and increase his faith. Help him to remember that You will take care of all of our needs, even when we're faced with circumstances that make it difficult to see at the time.

Please help him to know that You love him very much and made him special. Help him to know that taking his life is NOT the answer and that he would be missed by the people in his life and would miss out on the future that You do have ahead for him. Help him to place his hope and trust in You. As your word says, faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1. Please help this man to put his faith in You!

In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
