Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus I come before thee today on Christmas when all is holy and all is peaceful. This is the first Christmas I will ask for prayer even though I am very thankful for the birth of our Lord, and all the blessings he has bestowed on my life so far. Father God, I know You have great plans for me, not to harm me but for hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. My soul is troubled, and I ask for Your peace love and hedge of protection to surround me and Ray and Raquel, my children. I ask of thee and I thank You in advance to send me a helper, and an honorable husband. I have twin babies just over a year old, and lately I have grown weary of the absence of a helper and a friend, and yet I'm so thankful to be a mother! I've prayed for my children for many years, and now my prayer has been answered. I also thank You Lord for the whole picture of a family, just like Jesus, Mary & Joseph to celebrate life and share together. I ask that You bring to me a helper, or else give me the strength and wisdom to take care of Ray & Raquel on my own (with Your help). I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I did not give up and persevered in prayer for my children many years, and I believe and have faith I will be blessed with a happy marriage as well. If it is their father (Mark) I should reconcile with (we didn't get married) please make it very clear to me that He has given his life to the Lord, and his heart has changed, and allow me to be sure that it would be safe with him, that it is the direction the Lord has for us. I pray I can forgive him for what he did right when my children were born, and atleast he and I can get along and be on good terms for the sake of the children. I thank You Lord that we sign a paternity agreement, and be done with lawyers. I thank You Lord, and I praise Your holy name! Love, Lisa
