I'm in a very dark place. I am 29 engaged and have a somewhat stable relationship and lifestyle. I have become pregnant and am feeling very depressed about it. I feel as though I am not a motherly person and just am so scared depressed anxious unsure of what I want. I've prayed about this that God grant me peace and understanding and HAPPINESS as I feel I should be about this and no matter what I cannot feel anything. I can't even cry. I am numb and depressed. Please pray for me and my family to see the light and to feel happiness and love from our Lord. Thank you in advance for any prayers.

Heavenly Father I pray for this dear sister who is pregnant and is dealing with deep depression issues regarding this unplanned pregnancy. Touch this sister dear Lord and free her of the grip of depression and her deep doubts about being a good mother. Fill her with Your joy dear Lord and stir amidst her soul a deep and abiding love for her unborn child. Grant her a release from her depression and replace it with joy and anticipation for the child she carries within her. Draw her into a deeper and more abiding walk with You Lord Jesus and guide the very steps of her life as she leans upon You.
