RE: What have I to do
TJ,
I come to you as a sister in Christ. I have read all of your posts these last several weeks, and I know you have been confused and in emotional turmoil.
Trust, TJ, that God is working behind the scenes, even if you cannot see immediate results. Be still and know that he is God, and just get out of the way , so he can do his perfect work.
When we do not know what to do , it is time to give it up to God , and surrender it over, leave it at the cross and press on , total surrender, for God knows what he is doing. His timing is not ours, and TJ, we are in the flesh, like spoiled children, we want it now and we want it to happen yesterday, but God does not work that way, as he knows what is best for all. His ways are higher than ours.
God has given you this time with your children, use it wisely, to build your relationship with God, lean on him during this time and learn from him, and do not let satan take this trial in your life to steal your joy, especially during this season for your children. Cast all your care on him for he careth very deeply for you. You might not understand it, and it might not be what you want right now, but God does work all things out for good, you just have to trust and obey. Spend time in the word and listen to spiritual uplifting music, it does soothe your soul.
Healing takes time TJ, and I know your husband is hurting too from what you wrote, give him time for the Lord to work, and step back, let God do the work and have the reigns, for when we try to fix things we only make a bigger mess of things.
I think it would be a good idea for you to get involved with a womans class at a good Church for support, try to fill your time with uplifting things and let God work on your own walk right now, and God will work on your husband, in his time, TJ.
Release it to God, and let go, let God and just enjoy this Christmas with your children, for they deserve to see your joy too, as I know this must be hard on them too.
Know too, you do not have to keep asking for forgiveness, God already forgave you the first time you asked, now forgive yourself, and press on to the higher mark , forgetting what is behind and trusting and hoping , for God has promised to give you a blessed future.
Merry Christmas , may it be filled with Jesus Love , Hope, Laughter, Joy, Peace that passes all understanding and Healing.
In His Love, Cynthia
