I might as well jump in. I'm almost homeless and have nobody I can rely on and very few i can even trust. Nowhere to go and long time fiance is out of the picture for many years now.

No job, ect


Please pray for G-d to open a door for me. Show me a sign. I cannot figure out how to get close to him or build a relationship.

I understand prayer, but I need physical support.

I believe if enough people pray a door of some kind will appear and it may be a difficult choice but at least it will be an opportunity to know G-d.

I cannot figure out the first step and am filled with self doubt and wavering faith

First thing talk to God just like if you are talking to a person that is next to you. Pour your heart and sorrows out to Him, and ask Him to come into your heart and forgive you of all your sin, (really mean it with all your heart). Then find a church near you and start attending that church. Don't worry if at first you are not noticed, for today with the world the way it is, sometimes it takes time for people to warm up to a stranger among them. Just remember the first thing why you are going there is to worship, and get closer to God, the rest will come in time.
If you don't have a way of getting to church, call the closest church in your community and explain you want to go to church, but you have no way to get to there. They may send someone, or if they have a little bus collecting those who are without transportation they may pick you up too and bring you back. All you have to do is reach out to them, nobody will reach out to you when they don't even know you exists or need help. The bible tells us seek and you shall find, as long as you take the first step you will find God, for He doesn't force Himself on anyone, the same goes for help, a home, a job, food, love, or friendship. I will pray for you with faith the God will hear our prayers and help you, for He loves you so much that, He gave His only begotten Son to die at the cross for you, imagine that, for you and to forgive you of all your sins, and to give you a better life, only if you allow Him to do so.

Lord help this person who is asking for help and wants to know you. Take them out of the situation they have fallen into, and give them a reason to live a more abundant life in you. Bring their way some good caring Christian friends that will help them find a job and a place to live, also clean them up, so they can again stand on their own two feet as they allow You to guide their steps to a happier, fulfilling life in You. May they soon be able to come back here telling us of the wonderful things You have done for them, and with a heart full of love and thanksgivings toward You our Savior. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
In Jeremiah 29:11 the Lord tells us of His plan for us, read it below. If you don't have a bible ask the church to give you one if you can't afford to buy one, and start reading it. When we read the bible it is like vitamins to our soul, and we also gain wisdom by reading.
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
