Dear Jesus, we pray for the children who cannot see their daddys on this Father's Day. My little grandaughter who is 8 has not seen her daddy in 2 1/2 years. We pray that someday this will change, so that all children may see, touch and talk to their parents, those who are in the prison system. Children like my grandaughter NEED this for their growth and development. Right now she is waiting for a call, which she has not recieved yet. He was going to call at 1:00, it is now 3:30. He loves her very, very much. But no call yet, as they may be locked down again. This happens very often, mostly because of shortage of staff. Please join me in praying for these children. A call never came for her. It was because he COULD NOT CALL. He loves her so very much, and now they are BOTH sad. Dear Jesus, we pray that in your time, changes will be made, so that chilldren like my grandaughter, will be the same as the other children and not be left out.
There are many children, who are struggling and having a hard time. Their parent/parents are in the prison system, and they are a victim of circumstance. Thank you Dear Jesus for your many blessings. In your precious name we pray, amen
