Please Lord help me have patience with my son. He's four and up at seven and won't stop running around until sometimes 11 or midnight and he's really hyper sometimes. Lord help me get through this stage with a lot more patience than I've shown and please help my son calm down and listen and obey me because he gets hurt from running and jumping and being hyper. Please help me through this because I dread bedtime knowing what it's going to be like. Please Lord give me the tools to be a better parent to get this under control

Give this parent access to help with diet for hyperactivity, as many at that age have plenty of energy because of starch and high sugar intake. At four years old, its not evil, its physical. Bless her with the ability to get him into a playgroup that we tax his energy and get him to sleep.

Please help this household to be calm in the evenings. Help this parent to establish evening routines to be followed except for special occasions. Warm relaxing bath, reading bible stories and teaching this child to pray before bedtime, a drink of water followed by a hug and lights out. Lord help the parent then to calmly and quietly immediately return the child to bed when he leaves the room. Lord I pray you'll help this mother to be consistent in this pattern, so the child knows what to expect. You discipline us as your children and we are to discipline the children you've entrusted to our care. Help this mother to see that this child needs to be trained on God honoring routines so that when he gets older, he will abide by them.
