I need prayer to become financially independant of my parents. I also need prayer about a relationship issue. I need financial independance b/c of my mother. We believe she has a mental illness and she is very controlling and manipulative. I am 37 years old and she controls EVERY aspect of my life even to the extent that she has advised me to do things that are against what I believe is God's will for my life. She claims to be a Christian, but often behaves in a manner that contradicts that claim. She has even lied about me to friends in order to break up my friendships so she can keep me with her all of the time. I have gotten to the point where she makes me so nervous and anxious that i may have to take anti-anxiety medications. I can't even get any rest because she is constantly waking me up at all hours of the night to tell me a joke or something that is unimportant. The relationship issue is due to the fact that I've found the one I believe that God wants me to marry, but for the past 10 years there have been so many obstacles. I know I'm supposed to wait on God and I have prayed for and received signs that tell me this man is the one. It's just hard to have waited for so long and I don't know how much longer I will have to wait for things to work out. I'm sorry for the long request, but these 2 issues are the source of a lot of stress for me.

Dear God,
Please be with this stressed out woman and give her peace. Please provide her with the ideal job, where she can be a blessing to others. Heal her situation with her mother, and help her to be financially independent. Please give her wisdom to deal with her mother and speak to her mother's heart so that she will hear you and follow you. Bind any lying tongue from speaking or being heard. Also if this man she has known for 10 years is your will for her, remove all obstacles from them and their relationship. Bless her with the wisdom and strength she needs to overcome the obstacles that have been placed in her life.
