Dear GOD, I come to you in the name of your son JESUS CHRIST.
LORD I need you always and right now I'm going through this
emotional thing about being loved and feeling loved. You know
this wonderful man that I have been courting Andrea' (Andy).
LORD I've prayed this before helping us both to know that we
know that we know that we are the ones for each other. You
know that I have had no luck with men. And I don't want to make
another mistake. As wonderful of a man that he is I want the
right one for me and he needs the right woman for himself too.
Please FATHER GOD I'm lifting us both upto you and asking for
your help that we will be able to fully discern if our love for each
other is strong enough to over come our shortcomings? I have
been feeling like I've been getting the short end of the stick for
sometime now. It's not that I can't sacrifice but I am human and
I do have needs. As I know that he has needs as a man. It's
coming together, finding that balance and knowing whether or
not each one of us knows if we have what it takes to make this
work. FATHER GOD speak to both of us, it has to start with both
of us, our relationship has to be solid with a firm foundation of
knowing that we're willing to do whatever it takes and where the
boundaries are of the committment of a marriage/union, when I
come first as his bride-to-be over his family. He needs to
know when it's NOT OK to put me, my needs a side, to put his
family before me. I don't want there to be a competition for my
place in his heart, over his family. Don't get me wrong FATHTER
GOD, I love that he cares so deeply for his family but when you
mature to the place that you find the woman/man of your dreams
and you choose to start a life with that person, the priorities have
to change to some degree. There's only one spot for each place of
priority in the chain of command so to speak. Show him FATHER
GOD these things, that there is only one spot for who's 1st place,
2nd place, 3rd place and so on.... When there's to many 1st placers,
2nd placers and so on things get crazy and out of balance. I love
him very, very, very, much and I want to see him happy. LORD GOD,
bless him to understand my needs and to know that he knows, that
he knows that he is choosing to always make whatever effort
necessary to meet my needs always, not when it's convenient for him.
LORD GOD you know what needs to be done here to make or break
our relationship, PLEASE FATHER GOD, PLEASE FATHER GOD, bless
us both to know what is the RIGHT thing to do. We need YOU! I
ask all of these things in the name of your son JESUS CHRIST! AMEN
