Please pray for my stepkids and their relationship with their bio father. He is struggling with feelings of powerlessness and feeling out of control and unfortunately, he denies any mental illness issues that he has displayed over the past several years. Pray that my stepkids would know God's peace and power in the midst of the chaos and manipulation that their bio father creates. My stepkids often don't want to visit with their dad because they feel manipulated and deceived and unfortunately, there's a history of abuse and neglect. My stepkids are scared that if they visit with their dad, then they will become ill or be messed with in some way. They are only 7 and 5. They have been through a lot with their dad and he refuses to get help! Pray, also, for my wife who is struggling with all of this as well...for God's power and wisdom to be in her heart and for her to continue to grow in God's grace! Thanks!

Lord keep these children from abuse and manulipation by any parent practicing it. Whoever that parent is. Bless this mom to be at peace in her heart and intrust her kids to God when they are in the care of their father. Do not let the sins of the father take hold of these children in the way of mental illness. Help them to grow up loving the Lord, respecting and honouring their parents with a good long life as promised to those who honour their parents. In Jesus name I pray.
