God can hear you and I guarantee that He forgives you the instant you ask. There is no evil spirit in you, just doubt. If you want to change your ways, all you have to do is change them: be the person you want to be.

Loving Father, please lead Briana through the process of repentance and give her full assurance of the love and forgiveness she desires from you. Fill her heart with your Holy Spirit and remove all doubt about her salvation. In the name of Jesus, according to your will, amen.

The fact that you are concerned and want to change is indeed the work of the Holy Spirit. You can't change based on your power to will it to happen. But, you can allow Jesus into your life and He will fill you with His goodness. The secret is to keep focused on Him with prayer and reading and studying of His word.
