I just finished reading a news report about a little child killed by an allegedly drunken driver at a family gathering just a few hours ago today. Please, please Lord, help this grieving family who have today lost their precious 6-year-old son. I cannot imagine the grief they must be feeling! Please, please help them through all that they must now go through - just days before Christmas. Holy Lord, give them courage - and help them to forgive. Be close to them, let them rest in your precious sacred heart. Let them feel your love and strength around them. Cover them in your precious blood, oh wonderful Lord, today and every day of their lives. I also humbly pray for the family of the driver, and also for the driver himself, who will also be undergoing excruciating pain over this tragic situation. Please, dear God, help this situation from every angle. I ask you this with confidence and place this entirely in your hands. Amen. Praise and glory be forever yours, dear wonderful, loving and merciful God. xx
