Prayer Request - Guest - 09-29-2009 09:27 AM

I am in need of prayer. I requested to go back to working days (7am-3pm) to care for my daughter in a hardship letter that I wrote back in June. Well, I was essentially denied the request and I was kept on the swing shift (3pm-11pm). I was also told that I was going to be put on the grave yard shift instead (11pm-7am), but since my supervisor, Ms. M., on days and "her stooges" do not like me, and do not believe I have flourished as a valuable employee on the swing shift they put me on the day shift beginning this Monday, not to honor my hardship but to make sure I do not make probation which ends in mid Feb. This dayshift positions is only temporary (3mo.) and I need a much more permanent position for my situation.

My current supervisor, Ms. D., wants me to be careful as she has issued me a warning about their intentions. She said I will be a success within the department so long as I continue to grow and do what I am doing. She also said they do what they do to me because of their own insecurities and their own prejudice. So please pray in regards to my enemies, my success within this department and in being available for my daughter as a single mother while separated from my husband, Richard, until my marriage and family is restored, and that God will allow me to stay on the day shift even if that means I get transferred to a nearby facility.

Father God, I know that you are all that we need to make it through trials and tribulations. So, I ask that you would go into the life of this dear soul. Help her to lean and depend on you for her protection. Be her provider and her way maker. Allow her to be all that she can be as a mother and a wife. Father, if it is thy will, restore her marriage. Allow this family to be the family that you are calling for in these last and evil days. Bring peace and joy dear Lord to her heart. Let her see the victory over her enemies. I ask this in Jesus Holy name. Amen! (It is so)
