MARTHA AND MARTI - Cheryl - 09-07-2009 06:50 PM Hello all, Please say a special prayer for my Hospice paitent, Martha, in addition to all the residents in her nursing home. She is still experiencing stomach pain and isn't in the best of care in this substandard nursing home in which she resides. I am so pleased that she has a Hospice nurse, two nurses assistants, a social worker, and me as volunteer as she has no family and she gets very lonely. She is such an amazing woman! I see so much anger, bitterness, loneliness, and pain amongst the other residents when I visit her. Today, I was cussed up and down by one female patient and it was difficult to talk to Martha as their were so many patients yelling and screaming - most just wanting attention. Also, please pray for Marti who is the preacher's wife. She had gall bladder surgery to remove it several weeks ago but is still suffering with complications. Thank you friends! Much love and blessings, Cheryl RE: MARTHA AND MARTI - byhisgrace7 - 09-08-2009 09:43 PM Dear Jesus, I not only pray for Martha and Marti, but all the residents where Cheryl willingly volunteers her heart and love. Lord, be with all of our elderly, as you know how lonely some of them are Lord and the conditions they have to endure Jesus. Let Cheryl be a beacon of love , joy , hope and your light to them all Lord and send in many hands to help our elderly, the ones who have sacrificed so much for all of us. Be with Cheryl in her new position and Lord, I ask especially that you put a banner of protection around all of our elderly Lord, that no weapon formed against any of them will ever prosper. Lord, also Jesus, bless our elderly the most in our nation and take care of all of their needs , that they should lack nothing. In your precious name, I pray Jesus. Amen. |
